Air Tightness Test
This test is conducted during construction: either before or after gyprocking, depending on use of building membranes.
An air tightness test & thermographic analysis of the building envelope will be conducted, as well as a thorough inspection to determine leakage pathways and weaknesses in insulation and the air barrier.
This allows for trades to rectify issues before internal linings are installed.
Cost: $750
Final
Air Tightness Test
This test is conducted on a completed build just prior to client handover, or an existing home.
An air tightness test & thermographic analysis of the home will be conducted as well as thorough inspection to determine leakage pathways and weaknesses in insulation and the air barrier.
A complete report including thermographic images and all findings will be supplied.
A 15% total package price will be deducted if both first and final air tightness tests are being conducted.

What’s included?
Pre-test envelope calculations (all plans to be supplied at least one week prior to test date).
On-site preparations, documentation and completed test in accordance with ATTMA Technical Standard L1 and ISO/NS 9972:2015
Thermographic and fog investigation and analysis of the building envelope.
All equipment and attendance of a suitabley qualified person needed to conduct the test.
AATMA Lodgment Certificate
A detailed report summarizing all findings and relevant images (final only).
Travel to/from site, within reason. Extra costs for travel will be discussed prior to testing, if applicable.
